I still have mixed feelings on the death of Osama. I feel it was necessary, but I don't know if I would "celebrate" it. But these are always fun :)

These antique tables are gorgeous! I love white accented furniture. Also, the milk bottles as vases. Yes, please! I definitely plan on doing that when we move. I love having fresh flowers around!

I have to throw some humorous favorites in here, especially ones of the meme variety. This one totally brings me back, ha!

Oh my gosh, milkshakes. I've been so obsessed with them for the longest time. I had a strawberry cheesecake one this past week, delicious!

I LOVE aquariums! The biggest one I went to was the one at the Omaha Zoo. It was pretty pretty big. I really loved that zoo and am hoping to go back on our trip when we move down south!

 Family guy is just pure hilarity. Always.

Friday Favorites

 I know, I caught the train way too late for this one, but holy frick this show is amazing! I heard it over and over again and have been wanting to watch it and I finally got the chance. We bought a new blu-ray player this past weekend and now have netflix available again. It sucks that they only have (I think) 2 seasons on instant play so we have to have the others sent to the house. Hopefully that doesn't take too long considering a lot of people probably want their hands on those dvds! Never thought it would be as good as it is!

Spring! I'm totally having spring fever lately. Especially because the weather here in South Dakota is so back and forth. One week it will be nice and sunny and the next we will have blizzards and be stuck inside. Bright colors, dresses, and rain...I welcome you with open arms!

I was supposed to go to a bridesmaids dress fitting today, but the snow ruined that so now I have to reschedule. I could have been working today and making some much needed cash. Oh well, maybe my E.L.F makeup will come in today and give me a much needed pick-me-up. :)

Friday Favorites: Mary Robinson

Today I want to share one of my semi-recent inspirations, Mary Robinson. I can't remember when I first discovered her flickr. It's been a little while, but I rediscovered it last week by looking up photos that were taken with a Canon AE-1. This past summer my grandpa gave me his old Canon AE-1 that I have been wanting since I was a little girl. Its the first time I remember knowing I wanted to try to take pictures. I came across her flickr and it has inspired me to try to shoot film more. I have only shot one roll of film on my Canon and have yet to develop it. 

Her photos are so inspiring and beautiful. I absolutely love the focus and the colors and how she executes double exposures. Ahh, just youthful and breathtaking. Here are some of her photos that I love:

Friday Favorites: Bookcases

There are so many elements to a house that can make it really beautiful and one that I think is very important (at least for me) and eye catching are bookcases. They are so many different styles and colors. They are so fabulous and not only are they fabulous, but what you can set in them can really make the difference. You could use them for collections, displays, or just really great books! I love seeing what different people do with their bookcases and how they add to the look of a room.
