2. The Black Angels - Sniper at the Gates of Heaven
3. The Black Angels - Young Men Dead
4. Taylor Swift - Mean
5. Taking Back Sunday - Slowdance on the Inside
6. Adele - Turning Tables
7. Underoath - A Boy Brushed Red...Living in Black and White
8. Flyleaf - So I Thought
9. The White Stripes - Now Mary
10. Arcade Fire - Black Mirror

My music taste is all over the place, so make what you will of it haha

Photoshoot with Juliana

Here are just a few photos from the photoshoot with Juliana! I do regret not using my 50mm lens, because the ones in the woods would have come out SO much better with it. But I still love them anyways! She is such a great model and so natural! I don't have to coach her or anything, which is good, because I don't know how good I am at that just yet. The second is my fav! You can see them on my flickr as well!

Music & Friends at Prairie Berry Winery

This past Saturday me and Danza trekked towards Hill City (about an hour away) for our newly found friends, Juliana and Scotti's show. They are in a little band of two (sometimes three) called Scatters Their Own. They were playing at Prairie Berry Winery, which we had never heard of beforehand, a lot of richy rich type people were there, but there were some average people like us too so it wasn't uncomfortable.

We got there and helped unload their equipment and then me, Danz, and Juliana took off into the hills to do a photoshoot for a magazine Juliana is going to be in. When we got back Scotti was playing. We sat down had some really good food (Mediterranean pizza and orange soda, also some turkey, cheese and cranberry sandwhich. Danza tried some wine too) and listened to Scotti play. Juliana hopped in after a while and they played while I recorded and chowed down on my yummy food!

It was so much fun. It was the first time we got to see them play besides at their house the one time we went over there to do a fun photoshoot. The hills were really beautiful to see as well! It even started to snow RIGHT before we left. We then went to rapid to grab a tire, something for my mom, and Danza got some new decks from his sponsor at Outlaw! All in all that is what made our weekend. Easter was sort of tame. We got up late, gave Jaeden a basket my mom made for him, took a long nap, got up and drove to Danza's dad's to grab leftovers, brought it home and ate it up, then laid down and watched The Office and fell asleep. Haha, longest sentence ever. Anyways, hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!

30 Days Thursday: Day 10

Discuss your first love and first kiss.

Hmmm. Well, let's see. My first kiss had nothing to do with my first love. I guess you would count this kiss, haha. It was when I was really young. I can't remember what age I was, but I was in elementary school. My neighbors, a family a house down from us, were my best friends and every chance we got we were together. Their names are Charlie, Whitney, and Clint. Charlie (a girl) was my oldest brother's age, Whitney was my age, and Clint was a couple of years younger than us. All of us kids were stuck to each other like glue including my other brother, Cody. So, you might be able to guess that we all had our first kiss from each other. That sounded weird...My oldest brother had his first kiss with Charlie, Cody with Whitney and I with Clint. It still sounds weird, haha.

It was just one of those things where kids tease each other and pressure you to hold hands or peck on the lips or something. It was really silly and thats why I don't know if it counts.

Now, my first love. I think that happened in 8th grade, and coincidentally was someone I just blogged about the 30DT before last. Yup, it was Jacob. I just remember being completely infatuated with him. At the time I was going in the wrong direction in my life. Yes, I was only in 8th grade, but here where I grew up not a lot of kids are into normal kid things. Ninety percent of my friends (the ones I hung out with the most) were into getting high, drinking, and fighting. I sort of followed along with that, because a big part of me didn't really know anything else...until I met Jacob. He showed me different music, stuff I never heard before. It made me think about the world differently. He also spoke differently than the people I surrounded myself with. He was/is very poetic when I was used to slang. He really taught me a lot without even trying.

I think that's why we can still be friends. There is a mutual appreciation for each other that isn't forced. We don't have any real mutual friends pushing us together. It just is. And although I still believe it was actual love then, it grew into an admiration and appreciation and a definite friendship that will last forever.

Moving: Planning the Trip

Lately all I have been able to think about and thoroughly focus on has been the move we are going to make down south in about a month. There are times when it gets stressful, but 90 percent of the time its full of excitement! I get to move back to where I'm from and be around my family again after over 10 years! Plus, I'm getting away from this place, which is a big suck fest. I hate to have to say that, because I've learned so much growing up here and I wouldn't be the same person having not, but I'm over it. I'm over having to drive an hour just to get to a Walmart, an hour and a half just to go to a mall or anywhere good to eat, and its even over 20 minutes to the nearest dollar store. It SUCKS.

BUT, I'm not just excited about getting away from here and being down there. I'm excited for the trip itself. I have to tell you, I get very anxious in cars and driving in big cities, on interstates, going fast, and at night. It's horrible. So, I'm hoping it doesn't make this trip hard to enjoy. For now though, I'm looking forward to it and trying to not worry about the whole driving part, which will take 20 hours (not including bathroom/gas/misc breaks).

One thing I'm excited about is just being on our own. We have never traveled by ourselves that long. I think the most was maybe 10 hours, round trip. We flew together as well, but never drove that far. We've also never really stayed in a hotel far from home by ourselves. It'll be a new experience for our relationship. Another thing, is going to Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo! We are planning to make a stop there on the way. Its about 7 hours into the trip. I've been there before, but Danza hasn't and even though I have its been years. I'm sure they have built onto it a little since then. I'm looking forward most to the aquarium, the gorillas, the jungle, and the penguins!

I'm still not sure where we are going to stop and stay. Maybe Kansas City or some town on the outskirts. There is still a lot to plan. Yesterday, we made a day out of sorting through our room and cleaning it out. We got rid of a lot of stuff, but I'm sure there's going to be more. I'll post on the blog the more I know.

Oooh. One more thing I am excited for...the photo oppurtunities! :) There is sure to be a ton of photo posts during and after the trip! I plan on buying a couple of cameras before we leave. We are totally going to make a road trip out of this.

Happy Monday! XOXO

What I Wore (4/12/11)

Hey there, outfit post here! This week I got two modcloth dresses in the mail!!! They're super cute, in my opinion. I had Danza take some shots of me...only because Rainy had to work, sadface. These came out okay though, considering he barely knows how to use my camera, haha. Hopefully Rainy will take some of me this weekend in the other dress for a post next week! :)

Here are some silly ones of me and Danza!

Lol we look so weird wearing almost the same glasses, mine are the real deal though :P

Dress: Modcloth Meet and Greet
Tights: Forever 21(?)
Flats: Target

Friday Favorites!

Gorgeous light fixtures, such as this one! The colors are beautiful for spring and summer.
(//)

These antique tables are gorgeous! I love white accented furniture. Also, the milk bottles as vases. Yes, please! I definitely plan on doing that when we move. I love having fresh flowers around!
(//)

I have to throw some humorous favorites in here, especially ones of the meme variety. This one totally brings me back, ha!

Oh my gosh, milkshakes. I've been so obsessed with them for the longest time. I had a strawberry cheesecake one this past week, delicious!

I LOVE aquariums! The biggest one I went to was the one at the Omaha Zoo. It was pretty pretty big. I really loved that zoo and am hoping to go back on our trip when we move down south!

Family guy is just pure hilarity. Always.

(all images above were found on Tumblr)

Sherri's new hair color! I'm thinking about doing this for a little reward after I lose my next 10 lbs. That and a hair cut!

Happy Friday! Look out for my outfit post later today! :D

Oh, hello snow! Part Deuce

Check out these huge snowflakes! Love it. I can enjoy it knowing that the roads aren't getting messed up now :) Sorry for it being sideways, I forget that it doesn't flip on its own haha. Its literally getting thicker and thicker! Wish I would have brought my camera with me.

edit: while waiting (forever) for this video the snow died out a little lol

Oh and on a completely unrelated note, this is how I'm feeling about food today...

30 Days Thursday: Day 9

How you hope your future will be like.

Really, all I want for my future is to be with the man that I love, have a job that I love and excel at and have children.  I'm still not sure what I want to do with my life career wise. It's sort of all over the place. So, I just want to have figured that out some time in the future. I've always wanted children and I think I'm pretty good with them. I've been babysitting for years now and did it when I was younger too. And when I say babysitting, I don't mean for a few hours. It has been a full time job and sometimes more than that. I've really gotten used to how to take care of them. I want to be the best mommy ever :)

I also really want to travel. Of course I would like to travel over seas, but I'd also just like to see more of the states. I think a lot of people take for granted what places we have here and I want to see it all!

Oh, hello snow!

Okay, now you can go away.
I guess at least I know its supposed to clear up by tomorrow morning and be nicer this weekend :)

Photo Dump: Instagrams

I haven't been updating on the blog lately, because I'm too busy JUST working out and working. SO BORING!...and time consuming. So, here are some photos from last week, the weekend and even a couple from this week (so far).

The obvious non instagram ones were taken with Picture Show :)
