What I Wore (5/1/11)

   Heeeey! Its been a little while. I let my mom borrow my camera for her trip down south and it is necessary for the things I had planned for updates *sigh*. Oh well, Sunday Rainy tweeted me to see if I wanted to take photos and you know I'm always down for a good photoshoot/outfit post ;)








   I was wearing my Modcloth dress and my maroon Wal-mart tights with my Payless booties. I am such a cheap ass! Well, if you don't count the dress I guess, but that was such a splurge for me. Even the tights and booties were on sale, haha. I really want to start to add accessories in my outfit, but I'm so bad with keeping up with jewelry and/or not breaking them. Maybe one of these days.

   I'm still working on losing this weight. I've lost around 18lbs now and I feel really good about that, but I don't think I'll ever not have days where I don't feel huge. Today was one of those days (though I love the pics!). I think its mostly because I ate so bad this weekend! I had pizza and pasta galore. I even ate a cupcake *tsk tsk*. I made these cute little piggy cupcakes for Caroline's 3rd birthday party. Her theme was Olivia, so what better right? I got the idea from Emma's blog. It was SUPER easy. The only thing was, I couldn't find pink marshmallows since its not Easter anymore so I had to use icing for those and that was a bit of a pain in the bum, but it turned out great. See for yourself!

 

(Like I said, no camera. So, instagram pics will have to do for now!) 

BTW, can you believe its May already?! We move in only a month! Definitely need to get to packing this weekend! :D

What I Wore (4/12/11)

   Hey there, outfit post here! This week I got two modcloth dresses in the mail!!! They're super cute, in my opinion. I had Danza take some shots of me...only because Rainy had to work, sadface. These came out okay though, considering he barely knows how to use my camera, haha. Hopefully Rainy will take some of me this weekend in the other dress for a post next week! :)

Outfit Post!

   Here is Friday's outfit! I got this dress from Forever 21 (Love 21) and I absolutely love it! I was worried about fit, because I haven't bought clothes from forever 21 since I was a much smaller size and even then sometimes had trouble fitting into their clothes. But I saw this dress on their site and I new I HAD to have it, literally right then and there. Mostly because of how beautiful it is, but also because they ALWAYS sell out of stuff before I can buy it.

   But I hopped right on this one and boy am I happy I did! I saw that Love 21 happens to run a half size or so bigger than forever 21 stuff. I figured if it didn't fit, oh well. I would just return it. But it did and this is what it looks like...on me anyways. Sorry in advance for any photos that might seem redundant.

   Rae took these ones also and I'm pretty sure I'm more in love with these than the others now, haha it could be the dress though after all. She took photos of me and Danza as well, but I'm going to wait 'til a little later to share those ones, so watch for them! ;) Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!

Outfit Post

This Saturday I went out with my friend Rainy who I ALWAYS take photos with/of to take some outfit shots. Well, not really outfit shots, but thats what I'm using them for haha. They came out really great in my opinion and we had so much fun. She is the type that gets just excited as me over location or just getting a good shot, I love it. 

I'm going to start trying to do outfit posts from now on. I don't own a ton of clothes. Well, I guess I do but I wear a lot of jeans and sweatshirts since its usually so cold up here. So, hopefully it works out. But I just ordered like 4 dresses so I'm sure it will happen at least four more times after this. Here are some of the (out of 2000!) photos we shot! Warning: very image heavy!

I wore a dress with white lace on top and black on the bottom, purple leggings, and a mustard yellow cardigan. I don't often dress like this. I've actually never wore this outfit before this, but I think it works together somehow.

fun fact: These were all taken where I went to high school at :) The main place is by the building where the Jesuits live.
